PRAM Awards top honors

HATTIESBURG – The Pine Belt Chapter of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) recently honored several members for excellence in Public Relations at their annual awards banquetat the Lake Terrace Convention Center.

Traci Rouse of the Hattiesburg Convention Commission was the recipient of the chapter's top honor, the Bud Kirkpatrick Practitioner of the Year Award, for her professionalism and work ethic in the field. Rouse was also awarded the Committee of the Year for her help coordinating the largest PRAM State Conference in history at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in April 2008.

Also stemming from the Conference, Rick Taylor, Director of the Lake Terrace Convention Center, accepted the Business Support Award for the Center's exemplary work during the event.
